In celebration of the Healthy Weight Commitment Foundation\u2019s five year anniversary, we\u2019re looking\u00a0back at the contributions made by the Foundation and its members toward the health and wellness of our children through programs like the Together Counts campaign.<\/p>\n

\"HWCF<\/a><\/p>\n

HWCF and its partners have worked tirelessly to meet a vast array of achievements including a commitment to reducing 1.5 trillion calories from the marketplace. In January of 2014, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation announced that HWCF\u2019s dedicated food and beverage manufacturer members had in fact reduced 6.4 trillion calories in the marketplace \u2013 a 400% increase over their initial commitment. Together they\u2019ve also reached nearly 15M students with curriculum which supports nutritious eating and physical activity programming.
