Have you slipped up on a couple of them? We have all been there and bitten off more than we can chew with our goal setting. This can especially happen when you are trying to live a healthy and active lifestyle. It can seem overwhelming, but it doesn\u2019t have to be. <\/p>\n<p>With 2018 underway, incorporate these tips into your family\u2019s schedule to keep living a healthy active lifestyle this winter.  <\/p>\n<p>1.\t<strong>Start small.<\/strong> Don\u2019t get ahead of yourself and endeavor to revamp your whole routine. Start by adding one small change at a time. This way these changes are more likely to stick with you throughout the whole year.<br \/>\n2.\t<strong>Simply Swap.<\/strong> Don\u2019t completely overhaul your entire diet. Start small with some simple swaps one day at a time. Maybe trade that full-calorie yogurt for a low-calorie Greek version, swap out white bread for the whole grain option or trade that premium ice cream desert for sorbet and fruit.<br \/>\n3.\t<strong>Quench your thirst.<\/strong> Increase the amount of water you are drinking each day. Try drinking a glass of water before each meal. This will curb your hunger and also knock out a few of those glasses toward the recommended daily intake.<br \/>\n4.\t<strong>One step at a time.<\/strong> Looking to add more physical activity to your lifestyle? Start by taking the dog and kids for a walk a couple of time each week.
